Olu-Ade of Bolorunduro, Idanre,Marries Olori ROSELINE In Grandstyle


The elegant traditional wedding engagement of Oba Oluade Adeniyi and Olori Roseline Oluade was classic and the glamour has become the talk of the town in both Idanre and Ondo Kingdoms.


One thing is to be rich, another thing is to know how to enjoy life to the fullest. Olu-Ade of Bolorunduro, Idanre is endowed and richly blessed by God; he gave royalty the glamour it deserves. To people who have not met him before, his royal entourage will be mistaken for a first class Oba.


On the 26th of December, the monarch as a custodian of tradition and culture, took along with him Kabiyesi, Olus’, families and friends to his in-law place in Ondo to perform the traditional engagement of Olori Roseline Oluade. It was more of a funfare considering the numbers of entourage that stormed Ondo Kingdom.


Since the woman became Olori in the palace of Oba Adeniyi; peace, harmony and progress have come to the palace. Then, what is Kabiyesi waiting for than to pay her bride price and marry her according to the tradition of Ondo Kingdom?


Olori Roseline was described by many people that chatted with the PATH as a woman of substance; a woman of good characters and outstanding woman that care about the progress of her husband.

Aside being a woman of good characters, God bless her with beauty, Olori Roseline is no doubt a ray of sunshine to the palace of Oluade.


While speaking with the PATH, HRH, Oba Oluade Adeniyi said the need to perform the traditional engagement became necessary as a custodian of Yoruba institution.

” Royalty must not behave like slave; my Olori is a wonderful woman, caring and respectful wife any man will pray to have under his roof. She is a blessing to me and my domain”.


Olori Roseline was full of appreciation to Almighty God for counting her worthy to be an Olori to Oba Oluade of Bolorunduro, Idanre, saying it can only be God and not human being.

” All thanks go to God for giving me my crown, a God fearing, caring and loving man; when human being says it is over, my God said He just started, I am enjoying God’s mercy and favour”.


Chief Adetunji Adeyale, the Gwabie of Ondo Kingdom described the royal family as epitome of humility and respect for tradition.


He congratulated the monarch for a successful traditional wedding to her heartthrob; praying for good health, good children and peaceful reign.


On his part, Olu of Ilako, Atosin Idanre, HRH Oba Eric Akinsoyinnu rejoiced with Oluade of Bolorunduro for taking the bold step in performing the traditional rite on his wife.


” Olori Roseline is a blessing to Bolorunduro, Idanre and kabiyesi; her choice as Olori has brought good things to the palace and the people of the community”.


The Baale of Bolorunduro, Idanre Kingdom, Chief Ade Olabodun noted that it is good to marry a woman in accordance to the tradition of the people, saying Olori Roseline came from a good family that every man will pray to become an in-law.


The Olu Onipanu, HRH, Oba Cladius Ademehintoye who double as the Vice Chairman of Olus’ prayed for abundant blessings, progress and development the moment Kabiyesi married Olori Roseline to the palace.


The Chairman Bolorunduro Orisunmibare Camp 2, Mr Akinyunni Omotayo wished the family happy marital life, adding that the queen is a blessing to Kabiyesi and his domain.


There was enough to eat and drink as musician was on ground to entertain the guests and royal fathers. Notable personalities on the roll call were Chief Gwabie of Ondo Kingdom, Olu of Ilako, Olu of Onipanu, Baale Bolorunduro, Chairman of Bolorunduro Orisunmibare Camp 2, Hon Akingboye Arowojolu Smart among others.
