Two Foundation Donates Writing Materials To Orphans

A Non Governmental Organisation, Two Foundation has donated writing materials worth thousands of Naira to orphans in Ijare, Ifedore Local Government Area Council, Ondo State.
Two Foundation was established by Mr Wilson Olufemi Igboroodowo with aim and objective of rendering assistant to the less privileged in the society.
As part of the activities marking the annual week of the Ijare National Students’ Union (INSU), Two Foundation in its benevolent style donated writing materials totalling N120,000 to about 70 selected orphans in Ijare Community and environs.
The foundation was established in 2014 and ever since then, it has been one donations and another, not only in Ondo State but in other neighbouring states.
During the first wave of Covid-19, Two Foundation gave single mothers palliative to cushion the effect of the pandemic.
While speaking with the PATH, the father of the founder, Buldr. Igboroodowo Oluropo who represented him during the gift presentation at Ijare Town Hall said his son is a kind hearted man that can’t look the other way to the plight of the people.
He said the choice of writing materials to the orphans was borne out of Two Foundation benevolence to contribute to the education of orphans who have been neglected by the society.
” The foundation is only using Ijare as a starting point for rendering assistant to orphans; this kind gesture will soon be extended to other places”.
Buldr Igboroodowo, a Customary Court Judge further said the well to do in the society should be ready to assist the needy and always be their brothers’ keeper.
” The founder of the NGO considered orphans in Ijare because of the plight his father went through as an orphan at age nine. He knew the challenges of being an orphan based on his father’s experience while growing up in the ancient town”.
He noted that, to ameliorate the suffering of orphans most of who dropped out of school due to financial challenges, Two Foundation has taken it upon itself to provide succour to them.
‘ Providing writing materials to them is not enough; at Two Foundation, we shall continue to extend hands of love and ensure the orphans in the community have access to quality and good education”.
He pleaded with the wealthy sons and daughters of the community to remember the needy and less privileged in Ijare town, saying that is the only way to contribute to humanity.
Meanwhile, the President of Ijare National Students’ Union, Comrade Aluko Adeyemo Oluwasegun commended the kind gesture of Two Foundation saying the writing materials donated will go a long way in contributing to the education of the orphans.
” One of the major challenges we are facing in Ijare is the neglect of the orphans; nobody is ready to assist them. It gladdens my heart that Two Foundation partner us during our annual INSU week to donate to the orphans residing in our community”.
He thanked the foundation and urged the rich within and outside the community to emulate the large heart of the young founder of Two foundation.
