The Managing Director of the Emerald Medals Group and PDP stalwart, Babatunde Faro has charged politicians to emulate the good legacy of Late Hon Omolafe Adedayo popularly called Expensive.
Late Adedayo was a Member of House of Representatives, representing Akure South and Akure North Federal Constituency before his sudden death on the 16th August, 2021.
Speaking with PATH at the funeral service held at the St David’s Anglican Cathedral, Ijomu Akure, Hon Faro described late Adedayo as a grassroot mobiliser who was loved by his people and would be missed by them.
He said the mammoth crowd that greeted the funeral shown that late Adedayo was a man of the people who use his entire life to served humanity, saying politicians must learn a lesson from the life and times of the federal lawamaker.
He said though the late lawmaker’s death was untimely, he couldn’t have chosen another moment to join his creator as the time for everyone to die is usually determined by God.
Mr Faro who said the late Omolafe Adebayo was well-loved for his acts of generosity and positive impacts on the lives of the people, noted that his death would remain a great loss to the Akure Kingdom, his constituency and the House of Representatives.
While commiserating with the children and widow, he said the fulfilling life well spent by late Adedayo should served as consolation to the family. ” Hon Adedayo lived a short but well fulfilled life worthy of emulation. The crowd that graced his funeral that spread across five days is a proof that heaven is rejoicing over his called to glory”.
Meanwhile, Late Omolafe Isaac Adedayo- Expensive was committed to mother earth today at his private residence in Edo lodge, Akure.
