To the people that know the personality and what “Eyee-Lobirin of Eleyewo”, Chief (Mrs) Cecilia Taiwo Ologede stands for, the award coming from the management of the Focus Magazine is a well deserved one considering her laudable contributions to the development of the ancient community.
Through her commitment and collaboration with community leaders, Eleyewo electrification project was successful, the community can today boast of electricity, drinkable water; she also ensured that she reclaimed back the community land through litigation.
One distinguished attribute of Mrs Cecilia Ologede is the act of giving, she is a generous giver that can part away with anything provided she has the capacity to do it. She is a peace maker, a community builder and a lover of all but despise cheating and ready to speak the truth always.
While speaking with the PATH correspondent at the presentation of award to her by Focus Magazine, she described the honour as a privilege and grace from God saying she didn’t know the public was watching her contributions to her community.
Chief Ologede promised to ensure more development come to Eleyewo and will never relent in her efforts.
” God sent me to develop and transform Eleyewo community and I will continue to do everything within my reach to bring development to the community”.
On his part, one of the awardee son, Hon Kolawole Ologede said the award was in recognition of the impactful contributions of her mother to Eleyewo community.
He described her mother as a philanthropist, a focused community leader and peace maker who is very passionate about the development of her community.
Hon Ologede thanked the management of the Focus Magazine for counting her worthy for the honour.
