Alhaji Zakariyau Foundation Holds Ramadan Lecture In Akure, As Clerics Task Muslim Faithful On Giving
The Alhaji Zakariyau Foundation has held a Ramadan Lecture in Akure, Ondo State Capital, a lecture graced by notable Islamic Scholars and Muslim Faithful across the length and breath of the City.
The sons and daughters of Late Zakariyau founded the foundation in remembrance of their father who was a cheerful giver and well respected Islamic leader in the community.
The Ramadan Lecture/Iftar was held at Democracy Park on Sunday 15th March, 2026, where Shiekh Zani Sheu, the Mufasiru Ilorin and Sheikh Dr. Abdulhakofeem Yayi Akorede JP, the Chief Imam of Akure Empire and Grand Patron of Imams and Alfas in Ondo State asked Muslim Faithful to always cultivate act of giving.
The Scholars enjoined Muslims to obey Almighty Allah teaching and instructions to the letter, during and after Ramadan, saying they should not return to their sins after Ramadan fasting.
The Convener of the Lecture, Prince Mohammed Zakariyau Olawale, the Asiwaju of Isolo Kingdom urged every Islamic brother and sister to always show appreciation to Almighty Allah saying such attitude will attract more blessings from God.
He further advised Muslim faithfuls to be patience while seeking something from God, noting that, serving God diligently and faithfully, God will definitely remember and answer one’s prayers.
His words: ” God time is the best. We must be patient and continue to serve Him diligently. Some years back, I have nothing but today, Almighty Allah has blessed me. Even when I have nothing, out of the nothing, I still give to people, maybe, that was why God decided to blessed me”.
He charged everyone to have the mind of giving and helping less privileged in the society, saying givers never lack. ” I learned act of giving from my father, a man that is ready to give his last kobo to humanity”.
Food items were distributed to everyone that attended the programme.
