Ondo Guber: NSCDC Assures Voters of Adequate Security, Deploys 6,225 Personnel

The Nigeria Security & Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ondo State command has assured the citizens of the state of adequate security of life and property during the Saturday Governorship Election in Ondo State.

Speaking at the State Command of the Corps in Akure, the Deputy Commandant in charge of election, Philip Ayuba disclosed that 6, 225 personnel were deployed to Ondo State for the election.

The DC said the Officers of the Corps are prepare for tomorrow’s election while telling voters to exercise their franchise without any fear of intimidation.

His words: “the mandate of the command is to provide conducive environment for free, fair and credible elections.

While admonishing the people to come out and exercise their civic duties, he said the command has made adequate arrangements to ensure there are no incumberances as 6, 225 personel have been deployed for the exercise.

He further said, the flash points in the state have been identified and taken Care of by his men, while asking people not to scare of the numbers of security personnel deployed to the state.

He further assured that no stone will be left unturned towards making the election successful as Ondo State has a history of having peaceful election and that will be maintained.

He thus charge men under the command not to commit any atrocious act in the cause of election duties.
