The Chief Medical Director of Sckye Hospitals Ltd Akure, Dr Thomas-Wilson Ikubese has added another feather to his cap as a Non-Governmental Organization, Life Value Awareness and Leadership Secure Initiatives bestowed Living Hero in Health Award on him.
The multiple awards wining medical doctor has received Laurels and awards from different bodies across the length and breadth of Nigeria, either on health or philanthropic gestures.
Speaking at the award presentation held at the hospital facility in Akure, the National President of the NGO, Comrade Olakunle Aberuagba said the organization search light beamed on the giant strides of the Akure based Medical Doctor which resulted in the honour conferment.
“We have read a lot of humanitarian services being rendered by your hospital to the less privileged in Ondo State; as an NGO noted for celebrating excellent, we are mandated to conferred the prestigious living Hero in Health on you so as to serve as an encouragement to you and also gear other private hospitals in Ondo State who prioritize money above life to endeavours to give to the society”, he stated.
Speaking, Dr Ikubese thanked the NGO for the honour, promising to continue to use the little resources at his disposal to serve God and humanity.
He said the hospital policy prioritize life above any mundane thing, saying they will continue to render best medical services to the people of the state.
He dedicated the award to every member of Sckye Hospitals Ltd with whom he has worked selflessly with over the years to put smile on the faces of their clients.
Dr Wilson Ikubese is a renowned philanthropist, a former President aspirant and Founder of YesWeFit Revolutionary Movement.
