Sckye Hospital Free CS: Parent of Triplets Christen Boys After CMD, Dr Wilson Ikubese

The Ogana family has christened their triplets after the caring heart Chief Medical Director of Sckye Hospital Ltd, Akure, Dr Thomas-Wilson Ikubese in appreciation of the free ceasarian operation done on their triplets born in the hospital facility.
It could be recalled that, the triplets were delivered through a ceaseran sections free of charge by Dr Ikubese on Saturday the 30th of October 2021.
During the naming ceremony, the triplets were given compound name; John-Wilson, James-Wilson and Joseph-Wilson.
Speaking with Newsmen, the father of the triplets, Mr. Sunday Ogana, said the babies who are boys were named after Dr Wilson Ikubese to show appreciation for his caring, support and generosity before, during and after their birth of his babies.
According to him, ” I would have probably been tempted to think about how to abandon my wife and new babies, because of financial incapacitation, but for the help and support of Dr. Ikubese, I am happy for the blessings from God. Ikubese did not only take delivery of the babies for free, but he also bought the first baby food that they ate throughout their stay in the Hospital for them”.
In his reaction, the CMD of Sckye Hospital Ltd, Dr. Ikubese and a former Presidential aspirant said he acted in accordance to the Policy of the Hospital of providing free ceaserean section for triplets or more born in their facility.
“In line with our hospital policy, ceaserean sections for higher order multiple gestations (three babies and above), is free. So, the family didn’t have to pay for the surgery, accomodation, incubation care, oxygen, take-home triplet baby cot (we buy new triplet’s cot for every new set of triplets) and baby food.” he said.
He appealed to the members of the public for financial assistance for the family in other to take adequate care of the triplets .
However, Dr Wilson at the naming ceremony pledged monthly allowance of N10,000 for each of the triplets for the next one year, making it N30,000 monthly.
