RE: DESPERATE FALSEHOOD ON DISQUALIFICATION – OUR STRONG CONDEMNATION- AROWOLE MEDIA TEAM

The attention of the Arowele Campaign Organization has been drawn to a cowardly and malicious rumour being sponsored by political desperados that I, Samuel Ayo Arowele, have been disqualified by the APC Screening Committee ahead of the House of Representatives primary scheduled for Saturday, May 16, 2026.

Let it be stated without equivocation: *this fabrication is a wicked lie, a calculated act of political sabotage, and the last kick of a drowning opposition that cannot face us at the polls*. It is the handiwork of panic-stricken elements who have seen their imposition agenda collapse and now resort to propaganda to mislead delegates and confuse the electorate.

The facts are clear and on record. The official APC Screening Panel for Lagos, Ondo, Ekiti, Enugu and Rivers states has confirmed that *no House of Representatives aspirant in Ondo State was disqualified*. All aspirants, including myself, were cleared to participate in tomorrow’s primary. The panel itself stated that despite intense pressure from opponents to eliminate rivals, due process prevailed and all qualified aspirants were cleared.

We condemn this gutter politics in the strongest terms. The sponsors of this falsehood have no respect for party rules, no regard for the intelligence of APC members, and no shame in deploying lies as a campaign strategy. Such conduct is an assault on internal democracy and a direct attack on the integrity of the APC primary process in Owo/Ose.

To our supporters, delegates, and the good people of Owo/Ose: *disregard this falsehood completely*. It is dead on arrival. We remain focused, law-abiding, and unshaken. No amount of blackmail, intimidation, or fake news will stop the movement for a new and competent representation for Owo/Ose.

We call on the APC National Working Committee, the Ondo State APC leadership, security agencies, and the media to hold the purveyors of this misinformation accountable. The party must not allow political mercenaries to weaponize lies to subvert the will of the people.

We will meet at the polls tomorrow. By God’s grace and the resolve of the people, Owo/Ose will reject desperation and choose competence.
