PCCG MAIDEN MATRICULATION: WHY I ESTABLISHED BIBLE COLLEGE- Prophet Oluwamodede

Prophet Samson Oluwamodede, the General Overseer of the Prayer Centre Church of God said he established PCCG Bible College for the purpose of knowledge, spiritual power and reviving the gospel.

The G O. disclosed this during his welcome address at the matriculation of the first set of students to be admitted into the Church Bible College, a school located at KM 7 Akure-Idanre Road,Ondo State.

Speaking with the PATH, Prophet Oluwamodede said the vision to establish the College was given to him many years back, thanking God for it fulfilment despite challenges and hurdles.

According to him, ” It has been awhile when God spoke to me to establish a Bible College; immediately I received the message, I swung into action but due to unforseen circumstances,we couldn’t continue until last year when God said I should start again”.

He said the Bible College has been registered as an academic institution, with aim of using the college to rekindle Ministers of God whose spiritual fire have quenched.

” The Institution has the capacity to revive the backsliding Warrior of Christ by the Power of the Holy Spirit and anointing Power; I am fulfilled that the college has finally kicked start to fulfil all righteousness. Despite all the obstacles and barriers, it is a successful exercise”.

He added that, the college has more than 100 students into the Certificate, Diploma and Degree programmes. ” We have more than 100 students who have passed both the physical and spiritual screening for various programmes of their choices”.

The General Overseer said there is room for more students to register, saying opportunity is also available for on-line students residing outside the state and abroad.

While congratulating the lucky students, he charged them to prioritize excellence in knowledge, power and prayer in order to grow and perform better.

He further warned them against political discussion, violence,cultism, while encourage them to abide with the rules and regulations guiding the college.

Prophet Oluwamodede reiterated that, the college is an interdenominational institution, saying it is not for members of Prayer Centre alone.” We welcome all denominations and encourage them to consider our college in their search for growth in truth and knowledge”.

He assured the students of quality education both academically and spiritually.” The programme will continue until Jesus Christ comes”.
