In recognition of his outstanding contributions to human development and politics of Ondo State, Hon Festus Olanrewaju Akingbaso, a Federal Lawmaker representing Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency will be decorated into Hall of Sunshine State Achievers on Sunday, 30th July, 2023.
Fessywest as popularly called had served in different positions since foray into politics, prioritizing the welfare of the people of his constituents above personal interest.
Speaking with the Editor-in-chief of the leading News tabloid, Mr Dupson Collins stated that the Media Organization is honoring outstanding sons, daughters and residents of Ondo State that has carved a niche for themselves in their respective field of endeavours.
He added that Hon Akingbaso was singled out as an achiever in politics and human development going by his political and humanitarian antecedent in the state.
The event will hold at OSPDC Hall Ijapo, Akure under the Chairmanship of Rt Hon Victor Olabimtan, Executive Chairman of SUBEB.
To deliver the lecture is Dr Gbenga Abimbola of the Mass Communication Department of the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akingbaso Akoko.
The Lecture Theme: “Cushioning the Effect of Fuel Subsidy on Nigerians: The Way Forward for Federal Government, State and Organized Labour”.
Other activities line up for the event are unveiling and launching of Special Publication and presentation of Awards.
