Ondo 2024: November 16 Governorship Election ‘ll be a Walkover for Aiyedatiwa -KSO
The Senior Special Assistant to Ondo State Governor on Students Affairs, Hon Kelvin Solomon Olaolu has described the November 16 Governorship Election in Ondo State as a walkover for the candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
He made the declaration while feeding questions from PATH NEWS Correspondent during the official flag-off ceremony for the award of bursary, scholarship, and financial assistance to 11, 200 students of Ondo State origin in tertiary institutions across the country which took place at the Governor’s Office.
The five categories of the scholarship and bursary payment will gulp a sum of N335million.
KSO as popularly called thanked Mr governor for not only giving bursary and scholarship to the students of Ondo State in the tertiary institutions but also increased the Bursary from N10,000 to N20,000, N75,000 for students with disabilities and N100,000 for Scholarship beneficiaries.
According to the SSA, “The Bursary and Scholarship given to the students will serve as a relief to the parents considering the economic reality in the country”.
He added that Ondo State students are lucky to have Governor Aiyedatiwa as the Executive Governor of Ondo State, describing him as a man that prioritize the welfare of students.

He assured the governor of maximum support from the students, saying the students will reciprocate the good gestures of the governor by voting massively for the candidate of the All Progressive Congress in the November 16 Governorship Election.
KSO further stated that, Governor Aiyedatiwa is the most sellable candidate among the contestants in the race to Alagbaka Government House, adding that there’s no candidate out there who is better than the People’s governor.
He reiterated the need to support and votes for the governor saying within the few months Governor Aiyedatiwa has spent in office, Ondo State people most especially the students have been convinced beyond reasonable doubt that if the Governor is given four years mandate, good governance will reach the door steps of every household in the state.
The SSA commended the students of Ondo State for not joining the Nationwide protest saying the students see no reason to lead the protest in the state due to harmonious and cordial relationships with the state Govenor is a listening leader.
” This is my first political appointment and in less than 70 days in office as SSA on Students Affairs, there’s relative peace in the state and as we all can testify to, Ondo State is one of the most peaceful states during the nationwide protest”.
KSO noted that, he has a mandate to preach and sell the beautiful brand of Aiyedatiwa to everyone in the grassroot and they have started work on it.
“When I was appointed, I asked from the governor of the mandate require of my office as SSA and he told me to go from one town to another villages to preach the gospel of Aiyedatiwa to the students and to actualize and deliver this mandate, I partnered Presidents of SUG, Senators & Representatives of SRC and they are making the job easy”.
He urged the students to make good use of the bursary and scholarship, saying it’s scarce to see any State Governor paying millions as Bursary and Scholarship at this time.
