Owa’s Demise: Chief Kingsley Chukmuma Leads Igbo Community in Idanre On Condolence Visit

The Balogun of Igbos in Idanre and CEO of Lemmy Nigeria Limited, High Chief Kingsley Chukmuma has led a delegation of Igbo Community residing in Idanre on a condolence visit to the people of Idanre, Oloris and children of Late Oba Fredrick Aroloye.
His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Frederick Adegunle Aroloye, Arubiefin IV, (JP) OFR, Owa of Idanre kingdom and paramount ruler of Idanre land joined his ancestors on Tuesday, 27th of July 2024 after 48 years on the throne.
High Chief Kingsley Chukmuma, a Chieftain of Ohaneze Ndigbo in Ondo State described Oba Aroloye as a front line and foremost traditional ruler whose great leadership qualities and impartial judgements stand him out among his contemporaries.
His words: ” Our late monarch is accommodating, a peace loving, detribalized, God fearing, impartial traditional ruler, friendly with non indigenes among others qualities earned him respect and recognitions in Idanre and other parts of the nation”.
Speaking further, High Chief Chukwuma who was installed Balogun of Ndigbos in 1980s said the monarch good nature had brought numerous achievements and highly significant increase in population and land mass of Idanre while the economic growth of Idanre has grown geometrically since installation in the last 48 years.
He said they regretted the death of late Oba Aroloye as he was an icon but, he went philosophical and said, ”
While lamenting the passing away of the great king, Kingsley added that death was a necessary end of all mortals saying late Oba Aroloye did not die as his legacies are everywhere to be remembered even by unborn generation.
He enjoined the children of the late Oba Aroloye to emulate their departed father’s excellent virtues while praying for God to gives him rest and prosper the children he left behind and the people of Idanre land.
On his part, Hon. Prince Ugboma Egbulefe, the Senior Special Assistant to Ondo State Governor on Non Indigenes Affairs, said that from the records available to him, late Oba Aroloye was a traditional ruler with track records of being a peace lover who accommodated non Indigenes to live peacefully in his domain.
He prayed God grants him eternal rest and be with all he left behind.
Responding on behalf of the Oloris, Olori Agnes Aroloye thanked them for coming and the hand of generosity extended to them is highly appreciated.
She appealed to them to always follow the path of peace which they have been following all along in Idanre and the state as well.
