Olu Okeoge congratulates Aiyedatiwa, Calls for Elevation of More Olus to Obaship Status

The Olu of Okeoge-Ayejori Community, HRH Oba Ogunjebi Abiodun David has joined other well-wishers to congratulate the governor of Ondo State, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on his new position as the governor of the Sunshine State.

The Monarch who doubles as the President of Olus and Baale in Akure North Local Government Area Council of Ondo State said the elevation of Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa to Governorship position was destined by God.

He described the governor as a truthful and transparent person with the recent appointment of the Deputy Governor and Secretary to the State Government, saying the people of the state were happy with the appointment.

He appealed to the governor to write history by elevating more Olus to the status of Obas noting that many of the Olus were long overdue for promotion.

The Monarch further requested for the construction of roads in his community believing the listening governor would mobilise contractors to the ancient Community in no distance time.

Meanwhile, Oba Ogunjebi Abiodun mourned the demise of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN describing the late Governor as brave, bold and defender of the people of the state and South West with the creation of Amotekun Security Network.

He added that the Security Network and implementation of Ajama Report that elevated Minor Chiefs to Oba Status will forever remain evergreen in the history of Ondo State.

” Akeredolu was God’s instrument in the implementation of Ajama Report which release a lot of Olus and Baales from captivity”.

He condoned with the immediate family of the governor, government of Ondo State, People of the state, asking them to take solace in the legacies left behind by the Late Governor.
