The Olumafon of Imafon Kingdom, Oba Samuel Aliu Adegbehingbe has disclosed how the Late Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN came to the rescue of the only public secondary school in Imafon by providing all necessary logistics for the survival of the school.
Olumafon while speaking with the PATH NEWS in his Palace said before the late governor came to the school aid, he was the one footing the bills and supporting the school for ten years, saying Akeredolu’s intervention brought relief to him.
The Monarch who could not hide his joy said the students of the school will write their 2024 WAEC in the school premises, saying it is a great achievement to the community.
He condoled with the immediate family and government of Ondo State over the demise of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu who he described as a fearless fighter and courageous man.
Oba Adegbehingbe said the Amotekun Security Network and elevation of Obas in Ondo stand Akeredolu out among Past Governors the state has produced.
” Imafon Chieftaincy Title since 18th Century is Olu but thank God for Mr Talk and Do Governor who implemented Ajama Chieftaincy Declaration which has elevated Olumafon to Obaship Status”.
He specially commended the State Commander of Amotekun, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye for his braveness and for always coming to the aids of the community whenever he is call upon in time of needs.
While urging Governor Aiyedatiwa to fulfilled his promised of completing Akeredolu’s ongoing projects, he appealed to him to look in the way of the community with the construction of good roads saying that is the major challenge facing the community.
He further implored all the traditional rulers in the state to support and cooperate with the governor who he described as a listening governor that will be ready to carry along Royal Fathers in his administration.
