NATIONAL AWARD: HOW MUMMY’S PLACE SCHOOL WON BEST PRIVATE SCHOOL IN NIGERIA

Winning an award is always a special moment, most especially if such honour and recognition is coming from a reputable organization. The highest recognition a corporate body or an individual can receive is State Honour. To singled out Mummy’s Place International School out among the thousands of Private Schools in Nigeria speaks volume of what the school represent in the educational sector of the nation.
National Honour does not come on a platter of gold but given to deserving ones; certain indices and parameters would be considered before the honour can be awarded. Meaning, Mummy’s Place International met all the requirements to be considered for the National Award.

Among the indices looked at from the representative of the Federal Ministry of Education from Abuja was the school’s facilities, Serene and neat environment, academic standard of the school among other factors.
“They came from Abuja to inspect our facilities and they were surprised, the children are neat, cultured and loving”.
Mummy’s Place International School is a multiple awards wining school, both local, State and International. The peaks of it all is to be adjudged as the Best Private School in Nigeria.

The recognition given to Mummy’s Place by the Nigeria Government is to appreciate the school immeasurable contributions to the growth and development of education sector in Nigeria.
The school was announced winner at the 2022 Presidential Teachers and School Excellence Award to mark this year teachers’ day celebration. Aside the Award plague and certificate, Vice President Yemi Osibanjo presented a 15 Seaters Bus to the school as gift from the president.
Speaking at the rousing welcome organized for the Founder of Mummy’s Place International Schools, Dr Mrs Damiola Oshin, she attributed the honour bestowed to the school to God’s Grace and Favour, saying it is the Lord doing in the life of the citadel of learning.

She expressed her delight over the award, noting that Mummy’s Place is a school that believes so much in children, adding that such believe keeps the school thriving.
Dr Damilola said: “Love helps the helpless to see that there is help somewhere. It is a very important aspect of humanity, children need lots of love and we should be there for them”.
“Education services should not be business oriented, it is a call to nuture children, build them and get them to a place of independence and education service must reach all strata of the economy”.

“We’ve been trying to keep the standards, this year is just a year that we got recognized and we will just keep doing what we have been doing.“We will continue to be focused and committed, we won’t relent to bring out the potentials in the students”, the proprietress stressed.
Mrs Dunni Famewo, a representative from Ondo State Ministry of Education, while congratulating the school and the proprietress, said the award is well deserved.The school dedicated the 15 Seaters bus to God, the children, the parents and the teachers.
