The General Overseer of the Godliveth Worldwide Ministry, Rev Soji Gbadebo has described Nigeria as a failed state, saying only God’s intervention can redeem the country.
He stated this while chatting with the PATH at the church Headquarter located in Akure, Ondo State.
He said nothing is working in the country again as the challenges facing the nation have overwhelmed the leadership at the helm of affairs.
“We all know that everything has failed, the government has failed, the government cannot solve the problem of this country, only God can solve it; let our leaders humble themselves and go back to God”.
Rev Gbadebo frowned at the cancellation of the cross over service in Ondo State, saying Akeredolu led government was ill advised.
“It was scary when the government cancelled crossover night service, asking the church not to exceed 10pm. The question I ask myself was, did Corona Virus crop up between the hour of 10 and 12pm. I think it was a wrong decision; what the government ought to have done was to impress on the leadership of CAN to instruct all the churches to observe Covid-19 protocols and not the other way round”.
On the New Year prophecy, Rev Gbadebo faulted varies prophecy from different Men of God, adding that, God is not author of confusion. ” Every prophecy must be identical if not similar. If you see any vary prophecy, the source is not from the same place, our God is indivisible”.
He called 2021 a year of divine restoration and recovery with a condition that only people that are ready to serve God in righteousness and go extra miles will profit from the prophecy.
Reflecting on the challenges of 2020, he said nobody wishes for a repetition of the year many tagged pandemic year, adding that despite the challenges, his church and congregation have every reasons to thank God for His goodness and mercy. “2020 is a year of strange and mixed feelings”.
He advised Nigerian and its leadership to abandon idols to serve a living God, believe in God’s prophecy and serve Him more than never.
