A former Presidential Aspirant, Dr. Thomas-Wilson Ikubese, has stated that the future of Nigeria will be determined by the outcome of the 2023 general elections.
He stated this on the Crest FM Breakfast Show where he was a guest, asserting that credible, fair and transparent elections will help strengthen Nigeria’s democracy and promote good governance.
The YesWeFit Revolutionary Movement Convener said elections can only be adjudged as credible, free, and fair when voters fully and freely participate in the electoral processes.
He Said: ” The forthcoming election as a decider will shapen the future of our nation. The Prof Yakubu Mahmood INEC has what it takes to conduct free and fair election”.
Meanwhile, Ikubese maintained that those kicking against the use of BVAS and IReV technologies in the general elections should be regarded as enemies of the nation.
” 2023 election is going to be transparent considering the introduction of BVAS and IREV by the electoral body”.
He allayed the fear of the electorates as regard the Security alert of the INEC saying he is very optimistic that election will hold as scheduled by the electoral body despite the security challenges facing the country.
