NIGERIA @ 63: A NEW DAWN IS HERE SAYS ODHA DEPUTY MINORITY LEADER, R.O.D

By Dupson Collins, 1st October, 2023

Today, I congratulate fellow Nigerians, especially my people of Oka Akoko South West Constituency 1 on the celebration of our 63rd Independence Anniversary. It is a fact that we are facing serious economic challenges as a result of fuel subsidy removal and other economic reforms of President Tinubu which had resulted into an immediate high cost of living for all Nigerians. While this is making life so unbearable, it is important to believe in the commitment of our President towards ensuring that poverty is banished from our country.

The process of reaching out to the most vulnerable households has started. Few weeks ago, we shared the palliatives sent from the Presidency to our people and we have been assured that more are coming. The Federal Government is equally working on cash transfer to vulnerable households and this is already at an advanced stage.

On my own, I know how difficult things are for my Constituents and I am putting up plans to reach out in a way to reduce the pressure on my people.

I assure us that there is light at the end of the tunnel and we are almost there. Irrespective of the present challenges, it is important to see the hope of a prosperous Nigeria. A Nigeria that all of us will be proud of.

Congratulations and Happy Independence Day Celebration!

Hon. Raymond O. Daodu (R.O.D),
Deputy Minority Leader,
Ondo State House of Assembly.
