63rd Independence Anniversary: Nigeria Has Bright Future Challenges Notwithstanding – Barr Alonge

The Senior Special Assistant to Ondo State Governor on Social Investment Programme, Barr Kolawole Felix Alonge has described the future of Nigeria as bright despite the challenges facing the country presently.

In his goodwill messages to Nigerians as the country celebrates its 63rd anniversary, the SSA said the future of Nigeria will be far more glorious and peaceful than her past, and the nation’s lights will shine brighter with opportunities, equity and justice,

He tasked Nigerians to continue to live as brothers and sisters irrespective of differences in ethnic and religious beliefs.

“It is only when we live together in peace that we can work together to develop the country,” he said.

Alonge added that despite security and economic challenges being faced in recent times, Nigerians have every reason to celebrate their freedom from colonial rule.

” Nigeria at 63 is not a trivial journey but something worthy of celebration despite our shortcomings and economic hardship facing the citizens of the country”.

He urged Nigerians to be vanguards of peace and harmony to enhance development in the nation.

” Our heroes have sacrificed so much for our peace and unity; this generation of ours must stand up to defend the unity and peaceful co-existence of Nigeria inspite of our ethnic differences”.

He urged Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of oneness and unity, saying the well-being of Nigerians should come first in governance.

While reiterating the determination of Arakunrin Akeredolu led administration to continue to provide quality leadership and dividend of democracy to every citizens and residents of the state, Alonge enjoined the people of the state to continue to pray for the governor who is passionate about the welfare of his people.
