Ondo Monarchs won’t forget Akeredolu implemtation of Ajama Chieftaincy Declaration- Olu-Eleyewo

The Olu of Eleyewo, Oba Adesina Agunbiade has described the Late Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN as a brave and courageous man who the traditional rulers in the state won’t forget with the implementation of the Ajama Chieftaincy Declaration.

Late Akeredolu implemtation of the Ajama Chieftaincy Declaration elevated a lot of Minor Chiefs to the status of Obas across the length and breath of the state.

Speaking with the PATH NEWS in his Palace at Eleyewo Community, the monarch said the death of the Mr Talk and Do Governor came to him and his community in a rude shock.

While consoling the immediate family and government of Ondo State, Oba Agunbiade said the lasting legacies left behind in terms of security and elevation of Obas are enough solace for the people of the state.

He added that Late Akeredolu was not only a proud son of Ondo State but Nigeria as a whole who has contributed immensely to the development and unity of Nigeria.

The Monarch said the formation of Amotekun Security Network restored security back to his community as lives and property of the community are now safe.

His words: ” We can’t forget the good legacies of Arakunrin Akeredolu. He brought peace and harmony to every community in the state with the elevation and promotion of Olus and other Minor Chiefs to Obaship Status thereby giving them freedom over their respective domains”.

Oba Agunbiade congratulated the newly sworn-in governor of Ondo State, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for not only succeeding his late Boss but alive to continue the good work of the late Governor.

He urged the governor to consolidate on the achievements recorded by his Late Boss while asking him complete all ongoing projects across the state, assuring him of traditional rulers support for continuity.

Oba Agunbiade appealed to the governor for the construction of community roads, saying the community roads is an alternative route leading to Ogbese Community among others facilities the community are lacking.
