Akure Rep Bye Election: Why I am the best candidate for APC- Sunday Falae

In the build up to the yet to be announced date for the bye election in Akure South and Akure North Federal Constituency, the memento is rife as every aspirants is strategising on how to filled the vacant seat at the lower chamber. The two major political parties in the race are the All Progressive Congress (APC) and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Considering the number of serious contenders from the ruling APC in Ondo State, Mr Sunday Oluwadamilare Falae has disclosed that he remains the best candidate to fly the flag of the party in the forthcoming bye election.

The seat of the federal constituency became vacant after the death of Hon Adedayo Isaac Omolafe of the People’s Democratic Party.

As at press time, more than ten aspirants have shown interest from the ruling APC while the opposition PDP has not less than eight people struggling to reclaim back the seat.

In the All Progressive Congress, some of the leading aspirants are Hon Sunday Oluwadamilare Falae, Hon Omowumi Ohwovoriole, Hon Fadairo Oluwafemi, Hon Temitayo Tukana, Hon Ifedayo Abena, Hon Ademola Adegoroye,Hon Sunday Olajide among others. The list in the PDP is also endless as people like Hon Babatunde Faro, Hon Kemi Adesanya, Hon Dayo Awude, Hon Muyiwa Adu, Hon Alarapon and others were among top contenders in the race.

Speaking with the PATH. Engr Sunday Falae stated that he stands a better chance of winning the party ticket and the bye election if elected or picked by APC to represent the Party at the poll.

He said based on his antecedent, background and contributions to humanity even when he never thought or dream of becoming politician will definitely give him an edge over whoever any political party might feed for the election.

SOF noted that, Akure has over the years been short changed, reason being that, the town has not produced a good representative that can fight and lobby good things to the town.

” While other federal constituencies were reaping the gains of dividends of democracy to their people, Akure is lagging behind. For how long are we going to sit at the back seat? This is the time to send a better representative to the Green Chamber and the person that can do that is my humble self”.

Engr Falae said to provide quality representation, the people need highly cerebral man who has the capacity and ability to stand tall among his colleagues and fight for his people. ” With me, APC stands a better chance of winning the bye election”.

” I am a grassroot politician loves by my people, seeing me in the race, definitely, they will cast their votes for me”.
