Former Secretary to the Government of Ondo State, Hon Ifedayo Abegunde fondly called Abena has paid a courtesy visit to the Akure born Philanthropist, Dr Olumuyiwa Adu at his private residence in Akure.
The two terms House of Representatives Member visit to the home of Dr Adu was a sign of love between brothers and also reciprocate the early courtesy calls of Cubana to the resident of the Chieftain of All Progressives Congress in Ondo state.
Adu who was formerly of PDP reiterated that his recent defection to APC was to strengthen the existing Progressives’ forces for the overall benefits of the people and Akure Kingdom.
” My continuous stay in the opposition party will greatly amount to waste of time and resources and I needed to disengage my political career from the PDP and its unending crises across its different hierarchies.
” Oga Abena is my blood brother. We are from the same famous Iro quarters in Akure South; we share the same lineage and common interests that can be of huge gains to the people. In all ramifications, he is a deserving leader with impressive pedigrees ” Dr Adu stated further.
Hon Abena emphasised unequivocally that Adu’s political dynamism is different and intimidating. He was a threat to APC while in PDP. So, his homecoming to APC is a good harvest for the ruling party particularly in ondo State.
The duo agreed to foster unity among the APC leaders in Akure South and enhance the needed community development.
