2023 Eld-El-Kabir: Sarkin Shasha, Shehu Dangari Leads Community To Pray For Akeredolu, Tinubu, Greets Muslims

The Sarkin Shasha Community in Akure North Local Government of Ondo State, Alhaji Shehu Abdullahi Dangari has led the community in prayers for the ailing Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he celebrates this year Eld-El-Kabir.

Members of the Hausa community at the Shasha Market Praying Ground joined other Muslims to mark this year’s Eid -el- Kabir while offering prayers for the people, the state and Nigeria at large.

Speaking with the PATH NEWS on the lessons of the celebration, the Seriki Shasha, Alhaji Shehu Dangari said the greatest lesson lies in sacrifice and as such Muslims must is emulate and live the life of sacrificial giving.

The Sarkin felicitated with Muslims Community in Shasha and across the world as they celebrate this year sallah, saying it takes the grace of Almighty Allah to witness the yearly festival.

He further added that there’s need for the Muslims Community to use this festive period to pray for Governor Akeredolu who is battling with ill-health, saying the state can’t but pray for a governor who is passionate about the citizens and residents of the state without discriminating.

He prayed to Almighty God to grant the governor sound health as the people of the state are eagerly waiting for him to be back on his desk and continue his good work.

In the same vein, he also prayed for God’s directions to the nation’s president, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu noting that his few days in office has shown Nigerians that he means welll for the people.

He urged Muslims to celebrate in modesty and to extend love to their neighbours most especially the less privileged.

The Secretary of the community, Alhaji Aminu Jubrin while congratulating the Muslims faithful tasked Nigerians on religion tolerance saying people of different religions must learn to tolerate and accommodate one another rather than promoting hatred and acrimony.

His words, ” the season calls for sober reflection and sacrifice considering the hardship many Nigerians are facing at the moment. I can only urge our to continue to give necessary support to the new leadership under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he has left no one in doubt of his good intentions for a new Nigeria”.
