Dr Olumuyiwa Adu bags Niger Delta Students Award

The multiple awards winning Akure born philanthropist and stalwart of the All progressive Congress in Ondo State, Dr Olumuyiwa Adu has bagged the Niger Delta students Union Government outstanding humanitarian services award.

The presentation of the award was done at the private residence of the Cubana as fondly called by the representatives of the union led by its Ondo state coordinator, Comrade Adelusimi Olakunle in Akure.

Speaking, Comrade Olakunle said the special honour on the philanthropist politician was based on his towering political stature, unprecedented philanthropic gestures, exemplary leadership attributes, meritorious accomplishments among other impressive track records.

” Recall that Dr Adu is a notable politician with uncommon kindness, sagacity, clout and capacity whose generosity criss- crosses ethnic divides and religious inclinations”.

“His NGO – Olumuyiwa Adu Foundation has been rendering interventions in critical areas of human endeavours just to enhance community development and human capacity building with an overall selfless objective of providing better existential values for the masses”.

In his remark, Dr Adu appreciated the award and attributed the prevailing economic crises to the dearth of talents that can efficiently and effectively manage the nation’s God -given resources that are supposed to provide better living for the citizens.

He also promised his readiness to interact and collaborate with the students’ body in their cardinal quest to ensure good governance, social justice and societal growth.
