Ulefunta Festival: Asiwaju Ndigbo Felicitates Deji of Akure, Calls For Peaceful Conduct Ahead of 2023 Election.

The Asiwaju Ndigbo in Akure Kingdom, Sir Titus Umewenke has joined sons and daughters of Akure to congratulate the Deji of Akure,Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi as he celebrate 2022 Ulefunta festival.

Ulefunta is a yearly festival of Deji, a period when the monarch will embark on 7 days seclusion, a period of vacation and resting for the monarch.

Asiwaju commended the cordial relationship between the Igbos and Akure Communities since his ascension to the throne of his forefathers.

His words: ” Deji reign has brought a lot of development and growth to Akure Community; we can’t but thank him for the loves extended to the Igbos residing in his domain”, he noted.

Sir Titus advised the Igbos resident in Akure and environs to obtain their Voters Card and vote for the candidate of their choice, saying they must conduct themselves peacefully before, during and after the election.

While charging Nigerians to vote wisely, Asiwaju said the decision Nigerians will make in 2023 Poll will shape the future of the country.
