RE-ACCREDITAION: UNIMED TEACHING HOSPITAL RECEIVED WEST AFRICAN COLLEGE OF PHYSICIAN.

UNIMED Teaching Hospital Ondo, Acting CMD, Dr. Micheal Gbala has received the West African College of Physician (WAFCP) team for the Department of Family Medicine re-accreditation.
Dr Gbala thanked the accreditation team members and expressed satisfaction and confidence in the West Africa College of Physicians in upholding standard of care.
He Expressed that the Unimed Teaching Hospital has been keeping with her mandate According to him, the re-accreditation team would continue with the exercise at both State Specialist Hospital Akure and State Specialist Hospital Ondo.
He told the team that the teaching hospital is always willing to adjust to the directives, suggestions and observations of regulatory bodies so far it is for quality healthcare service delivery and education.
Earlier, the leader of re-accreditation team Dr. Louis Odeigah appreciated the warmth reception they recieved from the Teaching Hospital. He said thorough work would be conducted during the exercise and quality advice would be given at the end of the assessment exercise.
