Prayer Centre GO, Oluwamodede Supports Amotekun with N1m

Prophet Samson Oluwamodede, the Founder and General Overseer of the Prayers Centre of God, Akure has supported Amotekun Regional Security Networks with N1m as part of his contributions to the precarious security situation in the country.

He made this donation during the passing out parade of 503 newly recruited Amotekun officers at the Gani Fawehinmi Freedom Arcade in Akure.

Amotekun Corps is the South West Regional Security Networks established to complement the security agencies against internal and external attack in the region.

During the tape cutting of the 20 Patrol Vehicles purchased for the Corps, the GO promised to support the Corps with the sum of one million for fueling of the vehicles.

In his words, ” Mr Governor, your efforts in security the state against attack is commendable and appreciated. I will continue to support you with prayers because Yoruba Nation must be liberated from killers herder terrorising our land”.

” If I can’t afford to buy vehicles for Amotekun, I should be able to support them with another thing. On this note, I supported Amotekun with N1m for fuel, this will go a long way in the fight against insecurity”.

Meanwhile Governor Akeredolu while commissioning the vehicles said crime is a local issues that should be addressed with a large dose of home-grown content. Amotekun Security Corps initiative is a baby of necessity conceived as a home-grown approach to solving the plethora of security challenges that have put the people on the edge.

The Governor also commissioned 20 new patrol vehicles to boost the operations of the state security network and also commissioned the new Headquarters of the Agency.

Arakunrin unveiled the Roadmap to Internal and Border Security in Ondo state, assuring that the state shall become the safest and most secured in the country if the strategies contained in the roadmap are religiously implemented.

Arakunrin Akeredolu said Amotekun’s impact has been remarkable, adding that the security outfit has also given the people of the state hope in the management of security, despite that it came into being just a little over a year ago.

“It has further reinforced our long time view that State and community-based policing is the panacea to the country’s security challenges. Let me reassure the good people of Ondo State that our administration will leave no stone unturned as far as the implementation of our REDEEMED Agenda is concerned.
