Political Crisis: We won’t Condone Miscreants Truncating Peaceful Resolution in Ondo- Group

A leading Elders platform in Ondo State, APC Elders’ Caucus has stated that they won’t condone miscreants in whatever form truncating the peaceful resolution that has restored normalcy back to the state, saying the return of Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa as the Acting Governor has put a stop to the political rascality in the Sunshine State.
In a Communique issued by the Elders’ Caucus at the end of the meeting held in Akure on Wednesday 13th December 2023, the Elders commended the political solution proferred by President Tinubu which has restored normalcy back to the state.
The Communique was jointly signed by Chief Jamiu Ekungba, BOT Member and Secretary of the APC Elders Caucus, Otunba Agboola Kelly.
The Group promised to deal with any miscreants who may wish to misbehave or disturb the peace of the state.
The Elders extended gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu uncommon zeal in resolving the political crisis rocking Ondo State, saying the president has again proven himself as a leader that value peace and harmony across the country.
“We thank the President on behalf of all members of the APC in Ondo State and promised not to forget this among so many other special interest on president has bestowed on us”.
The Elders called on the good people of Ondo State to continue to pray fervently for the quick recovery of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
While wholeheartedly welcomed Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa to his new responsibility as Acting Governor of Ondo State, the Elders assured him of their unflinching support to build a formidable team around him in his running of effective government machineries of Ondo State.
Meanwhile, they expressed their profound gratitude to Baba Rueben Fasoranti, Afenifere Group and all the Elders’ Statesmen that stood with the state during it’s trying period.
