Ondo State won’t Forget Akeredolu’s Honesty, Boldness- Asiwaju Ndigbo

The Asiwaju of Igbos and Onyedu of Ndigbo in Ondo State, Sir Ezeorji. T.C.Umenweke (J.P. ) said the memory of the late Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN will continue to linger on saying the governor boldness, Frankness and honesty will continue to be remembered by the people of the state.

Asiwaju Igbos disclosed this while chatting with the PATH in his Office in Akure, Ondo State Capital, describing the Owo born Legal Luminary as Talk and Do politician that won’t lie on issues of public importance.

He noted that at the peak of insecurity in the South West Nigeria, the Late Governor championed the formation of Amotekun Security Network despite the Federal Government lukewarm attitude toward the establishment of the regional security network.

The Igbos Leader also described Akeredolu as Mr Talk and Do who value his integrity and words, saying he was one politician that stood out in terms of making promises and fulfilling it.
” Akeredolu was a fearless fighter and man of his words. He married my sister when he has nothing and he never allow his position as governor to blindfold his love for Betty. People of Ondo State had a lot to remember him for”.

He stated further that the Late Governor i a compassionate Leader that hold every residents of Ondo State in high esteem without discriminating ethnicity, gender or age.

“We are definitely going to miss our late Governor who has done well by all standards. Are you going to talk about his cordial relationship with Ndigbo in Ondo State? Indeed, we have loss a great man”.

Meanwhile, Onyedu of Ndigbo congratulated Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa over his new position as the 7th Executive Governor of Ondo State.

His words: “I am also using this medium to congratulate His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on his responsibility as the 7th Executive Governor of our dear Sunshine State. I pray for divine wisdom and knowledge to govern the state”.

He urged the governor to continue with the legacies project of the governor and ensure all uncompleted projects are completed in due time.
