Ondo: Nigeria Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Roll Out Activities On The Inauguration of Its 5th Chairman

In preparation of the Inauguration of the 5th Chairman of the Nigeria Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Akure Chapter, Ondo State,the Planning Committee has rolled out activities for the history making event.
In a Press Briefing held at the Secretariat of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Akure, the Deputy Chairman/Chairman Planning Committee, Engr. Ayodeji Ajayi stated that the purpose of the briefing is to intimate members of the public about the activities lined up for the inauguration of the 5th Chairman of the institute, Akure Chapter, Engr. Adedokun Adeyemi Adeyonu.
The Institute kicked start the programme with the Press Briefing on Tuesday 1st of July, 2025, to be followed by Evening of Praise by 4pm.
Also, Empowerment for 50 less privileged at RCCG-Seed of David, Toyin’s building, Adesida road, Akure by 5Pm on Tuesday 1st of July.
On Wednesday 2nd of July will witness the Arrival of NIEEE President by 11am which will be followed up by Courtesy Visits to the Elders of the Institute by the NIEEE Presidents and also some top Government functionaries by 2pm. One-on-One with Mr President by 5pm at Winners Guest House, Ijapo.
On Thursday 3rd of July, 2025 is the big day which is the day for the Inauguration of the 5th Chairman of the Institute, of which awards would be conferred on distinguished individual in the field of Electrical Engineering and in service to humanity and also to individuals who have supported the Institute over the years.
There will be an Inauguration Lecture to be delivered by the Special Adviser on Power and Commissoner Designate, Engr (Dr) Johnson Alabi, titled “Policy and Regulatory Framework for Efficient Energy Management”.
The Special Guest of Honour/Keynote Speaker is the Executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency Dr. Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa while the Chairman of the Occasion is Engr Felix Olu FNIEEE.
The Chief Host is IPC Engr Folorunso S.S and Guest of Honour, Otunba Tom Daramola, CEO RTD Thompson Abuja, Engr Olaolu Ogunduyile, Vice President COREN, Engr Ibrahim Sunday Abudawaris, Chairman Kogi State Electricity Regulatory Commission, Hon. Festus Adefiranye Member House of Representatives.
The Royal Father of the Day is His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr Oluwole Olufaderin Adetimehin.
On Sunday; Thanksgiving at RCCG-Seed of David,Toyin’s building, Adesida road, Akure by 11am.
