Ondo Newspaper Publishers’ President Condemns Rising Cases of Ritual Killings, Charges Security Agents, NOA To Address Situation

The Ondo State President, Association of Independent Newspaper Publishers of Nigeria Ondo State Council, Prince Adefemi Ojopagogo has condemned the rising cases of kidnapping and ritual killing in the country.

He admonished the security agencies to be more proactive in order to deter and nip in the mud the activities of perpetrators.

“Though the security agencies have done very well but a lot still need to be done, “he posited.

He enjoined National Orientation Agency (NOA) to do everything possible to sentisize the youth and the entire populace on the need to embrace hardwork, moral values and uphold the rule of law.

The President said there is no short cut to success in life except hardwork and sincerity of purpose.

He condemned the reckless and senseless killing of military couple describing the act as barbaric and heinous.

He urged the parents and guardians to monitor the activities of their children all the time now that school has resumed for third term academic session.

” The ritualists are now on the prowl across the nook and cranny of Nigeria, our people should be security conscious”,he explain
