A leading aspirant under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Hon Williams Oyinkansola Bosede has revealed the rational behind her foray into the House of Assembly contest, saying Ifedore State Constituency needs a representative that will bring dividend of democracy to the people’s door steps.

Hon Oyinkansola stated this while chatting with journalists at the State Secretariat of the party in Akure after collecting her House of Assembly Nomination and Expression of Interest Forms.

Speaking, Oyinkansola noted that the people of Ifedore State Constituency deserve better and quality representation that will drive development to the constituent.

She bemoaned the inability of woman in Ifedore to be elected into the State Assembly since the creation of the local government, saying the time is now for her to break the aged long jinx.

The Assembly Hopeful commended Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for giving women sense of belonging in his administration, noting that, with the governor’s support, more women would be elected into the State Assembly comes 2023.

While thanking the governor’s wife, Arabirin Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu for her words of encouragement and support for female gender in the state, she promised to live up to expectations if elected into the State Assembly.

Oyinkansola promised to give real empowerment that will change the living conditions of people in her constituency, saying the aged, market women, artisans, students and youths will benefit from her empowerment and other programmes.

She assured all the party leaders and members of good welfare package, while urging the delegates to cast their votes for her.

Speaking in a separate interviews, Hon Olamide Falana, Special Adviser to the Governor on Gender and Hon Kehinde Adeniran, Senior Special Assistant to Governor Akeredolu on Women Affairs described Hon Williams Oyinkansola as the best candidate for the job, promising to give her total support.
