Ondo LG Victory: Hon Wasiu Abiola thanks Aiyedatiwa, Bolodeoku, Other Leaders in Odigbo

The newly elected Councillor for Ore 2 Onisere Ward 11 in Odigbo Local Government Area Council of Ondo State, Hon Wasiu Abiola has thanked Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Hon Micheal Bolodeoku and other Leaders in the Council Area on his victory in the just concluded local government election in the state.

He spoke with the PATH at the ODIEC headquarters in Akure, during the presentation of Certificate of Return to the 203 elected Councillors in the January 18 election.

Hon Abiola specifically thanked his political godfather, Hon Micheal Bolodeoku for his unwavering commitment and support before, during and after the election.
” I thank all APC members in Onisere Ward 11, our amiable governor, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, Hon Tunji Fabiyi, Hon Najim for their support. I specifically thank my Godfather, Hon Micheal Bolodeoku who stood by me throughout the journey that gave me victory in the January 18 local government election in Odigbo Local Government”.

Hon Abiola assured of his readiness to work with the chairman of the local government in ensuring dividend of democracy reach the doorstep of the people of Onisere Ward.
His words: ” I can assure the people of Onisere Ward 11 that, I will use my good office to bring development to the community under Ward 11. Our people should be expecting good roads, electricity, first of it kind new market in Onisere among other amenities”.

Earlier, in his address, ODIEC Chairman Dr. Joseph Aremo congratulated the councillors-elect and urged them to remain law-abiding while carrying out their official duties to positively impact the lives of people at the grassroots level.
Dr. Aremo described the elections as a true reflection of the people’s will and a testament to the commission’s commitment to conducting free, fair, and credible polls.

He also advised the councillors-elect to handle their certificates with care, noting that lost certificates would not be reissued.
