Ondo Assembly: LGSC Boss, Femi Idris Wins Polling Unit, Congratulates Ogunmolasuyi, Rennykay

In the just concluded House of Assembly election in Ondo State, the Chairman of the Ondo State Local Government Service Commission, Hon Femi Idris won his Polling Unit for the candidate of APC in Owo Local Government.

The Chairman voted at Igboroko 2, Ward 3, Unit 10 ( St Martin’s Primary School) in Owo Local Government Area Council.

In the result announced by the Presiding Officer of INEC at the Polling Unit 10, APC scored 125 votes as against PDP 13 votes. The ward has four polling Units and APC won all the units ( Polling Unit 004, 005, 010 and 011).

In Unit 004, APC scored 129 votes, PDP scored 8 votes while in Unit 005, APC scored 98 and PDP polled 4 votes.

Speaking with the PATH, Hon Femi Idris, a former Chairman of Owo Local Government said Igboroko Ward 3 is a great determinant of who wins election in the state constituency and Owo Council at large.

He added that the victory of APC candidates in Owo Local Government was as a result of the giant strides of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN CON in Ondo State, saying the only way the people can thank the governor is by voting massively for all the candidates of APC.

Hon Idris thanked all the leaders of the party in Owo for the resounding victory.

Meanwhile, Hon Idris has congratulated the Majority Leader, Hon Oluwole Emmanuel Ogunmolasuyi who won his reelection into the state assembly and Hon Morenike Witherspoon, a first timer, both will be representing Owo State Constituency 1 and 2 in the 10th Assembly.
