Ondo: Akeredolu’s Aide, Dr Bunmi Ademosu Becomes TAMPAN Grand Patroness

The Event Hall of the Blissworld Hotel, Akure was filled to the brim on Monday 1st of May during the investiture of Dr Bunmi Ademosu as the Grand Patroness of TAMPAN, Ondo State Council.

The multiple award winning Icon is the Special Adviser to Ondo State Governor on Public and Inter- Governmental Relations.

Speaking with the PATH, Dr. Ademosu thanked the association for deeming it fit to honour her as the Grand Patroness of the Theatre and Film making body.

She assured members of the Association of her readiness to partner with them in reviving the Yoruba culture and traditions that is already going into extinction.

Her words: ” Our cultural values and culture is gradually going into extinction and we must work together to revive, our culture is our identity. Within my capacity, I will continue to support the group in all ways possible”.

“I am a typical Akure girl. I want to admonish our people that we must not throw away our history. We have a rich culture and tradition as Yorubas”

Ademosu further said the need to revive Yoruba tradition and culture inspired her to associate with TAMPAN.

Dignitaries that graced the occasion includes Olowa of Igbara Oke kingdom, His Imperial Majesty Oba Adefarakanmi Agbede CFR, Hon Saka Ogunleye, TAMPAN National President, Bolaji Amusan, Nollywood Top Actors and Actresses among others.

Major highpoint of the event is the official presentation of certificate to the Grand Patroness, Dr. Ademosu by Tampan Global President, Otunba Bolaji Amusan JP (MR LATIN) who described her as a fearless woman with intimidating profile.

Meanwhile, the newly elected executives of the association were inaugurated and unveiling of the production of a new movie titled: “Iya Alagbo” was also done.
