Ondo @ 50: Ondo Artisans Congratulate Governor Aiyedatiwa, Citizens of the SunShine State

Ondo State Artisan Group (OSAG) under the leadership of Comrade (Apostle) Gbenga Adefioye Gure has joined notable Nigerians across the world to congratulate His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and the resilient people of Ondo State on the momentous occasion of Ondo State at 50.
Ondo State was created on February 3rd, 1976 by the military Head of State, Gen Muritala Mohammed and the first Military Administrator was David Ikpeme.
In a Congratulatory message sent to PATH which was signed by the Publicity Secretary, Comrade Niran Oni said the Golden Jubilee celebration marks a significant milestone, reflecting five decades of resilience, growth, cultural pride, and collective progress of the state.
In his words: ” It is a time to celebrate the vision of our founding fathers, honour past leaders, and acknowledge the sacrifices and contributions of the people who have shaped Ondo State into what it is today”.
“I commend His Excellency, the Governor, HE Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa for his purposeful leadership and for thoughtfully outlining a comprehensive programme of activities to mark this historic anniversary. The week-long celebrations, as captured in the official programme, reflect a balance of reflection, gratitude, intellectual engagement, wellness, and the celebration of excellence – values that define the Ondo spirit”.

The President urged the people of Ondo State to support Governor Aiyedatiwa in piloting the state to greater heights saying the last one year of the governor in the saddle, Ondo State has witnessed unprecedented infrastructural development.
He used this occasion to remind the Governor of his promises to the Artisans Group of creating Artisans welfare and Development Board for human capacity development of MSMe in the economic growth of the state to alleviate unemployment and to create financial freedom to the operators of informal sectors that hold the heart of the nation economy.
He admonished the government to be aware of sacophant who are shielding the efforts of the government from reflection to the grass root Artisans in the State.
