Ondo 2024: My experience, connection will put me ahead of other aspirants- Ebiseni

Ahead of the November 2024 Governorship Election in Ondo State, one of the leading aspirants under the umbrella of the People’s Democratic Party, Prince Sola Ebiseni has stated that among the aspirants eyeing the ticket of the party, he is the most experienced and connected.
He made this disclosure while speaking with the PATH Correspondent during the stakeholders meeting held with all the governorship aspirants of the party at the PDP Secretariat in Akure.
Ebiseni, a former Commissioner and the Secretary General of Afenifere said with his current position, he has wide connection across the length and breath of the country that will usher good governance and development to the state.
He also added that experience will play a major role in who pick the party ticket, saying the People’s Democratic Party has nothing to fear as the party will defeat whoever the ruling party in the state with put forward for the contest.
The Afenifere Scribe promised to abide with whatever decision taken by the leadership of the party as regard method to be adopted in picking the flag bearer of the party, noting that he is optimistic of picking the party ticket ahead of others.
Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) in Ondo State said a consensus arrangement would be put in place to pick a standard bearer that will fly the party’s ticket in the November 2024 governorship election.
the Acting State Chairman, Basorun Tola Alabere, stated this during an interactive session organized by the State Working Committee (SWC) members and leaders of the Party, with aspirants jostling for the party’s Guber ticket.
The Chairman, Alabere, assured the aspirants that, the PDP is desirous of a consensus arrangement for picking a standard bearer, noting that if it fails, the party will organise a free, fair and transparent party primary.
This was contained in a press relases made available to the pressmen by the State Publicity Secretary of the PDP on Monday.
It reads: “Rising from the meeting at the State Secretariat at Akure on Monday, 26th February, 2024, the aspirants expressed confidence in the party’s capacity to win the governorship election in the face of hunger and anger in the land orchestrated by the All Progressives Party (APC).
“All the Aspirants were in high spirits and gave firm commitment to supporting whoever emerges as flag bearer of the party.”
The governorship aspirants that attended the interactive session are, H.E Agboola Ajayi, Chief Olusola Ebiseni, Engr. Adeolu Akinwunmi, Prince John Mafo, Otunba Benson Akingboye(OBA), Hon. Sheba Abayomi and Arebuwa Bosun.
Other leaders in attendance includes former Governor Olusegun Mimiko, Dr Tayo Dairo, Engr Clement Faboyede, Dr Kola Ademujimi and others.
