Ondo 2024: APM Picks Ogunfeyimi Kolawole As Governorship Candidate

The Allied People’s Movement (APM) has picked Elder Ogunfeyimi Isaac Kolawole as its flag bearer in the November 16 Governorship Election in Ondo State.

The flag bearer emerged through consensus as party delegates across the 18 Local Governments of the state assembled at the State Party’s Secretariat in Akure to affirmed his nomination at the party’s candidate.

The exercise was monitored by the INEC, National and State Executives of PRP, Security Agencies and other relevant stakeholders were all in attendance to monitor the primary.

Speaking with the PATH, the National Secretary of APM, Ayodele Oyadeyin commended the transparent and peaceful primary that produced Elder Ogunfeyimi, urging the people of Ondo State to vote for the party’s candidate in November.

In the same vein, the State Chairman of the party, Mr Oloro thanked the delegates for their peaceful conduct saying APM is the party to beat in the November Poll.

He appealed to the people of the state to vote Elder Ogunfeyimi Kolawole saying Ondo State needs experience politician and leader that share the same vision with the Late Sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo.

The Governorship Candidate promised to focus on Agriculture, Education, Health saying if elected as the next governor of Ondo State, he will prioritize Agriculture and restore the lost glory in this sector back to Ondo State.

He assured the people of Ondo of his determination to key into the Awo’s Vision where Ondo State was the hub of Agriculture that serve the Western Region, qualitative education and healthcare delivery among others developmental projects.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Governorship Candidate is Mr Arowolo Folorunsho Afolabi.
