Missioner of Men in Islam, Taqwallah Bags AMIS Award

The Founder and Missioner of Men in Islam, Imam Muhammad Jamiu AbdulWahab popularly called Taqwallah was decorated with the prestigious Award of Excellence by the Association of Model Islamic Schools, (AMIS) Ondo State Chapter.

The Strategic Education Retreat and Award Presentation was well attended by Islamic Scholars and leaders of Muslims religion across the length and breadth of Ondo State.

The programme was held at the Akure City Hall Akure on Saturday 5th March, 2022 where the Guest Speaker spoke on the theme- Muslim Schools: Excelling in the New Normal.

While presenting the Award of Excellence to Imam Jamiu AbdulWahab, the organiser of the programme categorically stated that, the well deserving honour was in recognition of the contributions of the Imam to the growth and development of Islam and Education in Ondo State.

Speaking with the PATH on phone, Imam Taqwallah thanked the AMIS for counting him worthy among numerous Muslim faithfuls in Ondo State for the honour, noting that he was the youngest among the awardees.

He further explained that, he felt honoured to receive the award most especially when it was given to him by a body promoting Islam in the state, promising to always support any cause that will promote Islam and Islamic education.

Taqwallah appealed to religious leaders in the state to always preach peace and encourage their wards to embrace Islam as a way of life.

Imam Muhammad Jamiu AbdulWahab is an erudite Scholar and Islamic Clergy who is passionate about impacting and helping people. A philanthropist and God fearing personality that holds Islam and education in high esteems.

He is the Founder and Missioner of Men in Islam, a reputable muslim group in Ondo State.

He is also the Chief Examiner of West African Examination Council (WAEC) on Islamic Studies in Ondo, Ekiti and Edo State.
