Journalists Run For Cover As Thugs Disrupt Akure South/North Primary

It was a theater of war at the Ade Super Venue of the All Progressive Congress House of Representatives Primary as Political thugs disrupted the counting of ballot paper.

Journalists monitoring the election has to take cover as heavy gun shots rented the air.

The thugs forced their ways into the hall as the Primary Committee Chairman started counting votes after sorting of ballot papers.

The suspected thugs having noticed their principal loosing out of the primary mobilised to forestall counting of votes.

The keenly contested primary was among the incumbent Member of the House of Representatives Otunba Mayokun Lawson-Alade, Prince Derin Adesida and Olufemi Fadairo.
