I will build on my predecessor Legacy- Engr Bolawole

The newly elected Chairman of the Akure Branch of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Engr Stephen Olugbenga Bolawole, has reiterated his commitment to build on the legacy of his predecessor in office.
Engr Bolawole disclosed this at the Branch Dinner and Awards Night held at Ijapo,Akure.
He said his predecessor, Engr Oloruntola Ezekiel performance is exceptional and deserve commendation from members of the Society.
His words: ” If not for bye law, I would have asked Engr Ezekiel to continue because of his laudable achievements within the last two years”.
He added that, Engr Ezekiel is leaving behind a big shoe, believing with God on his sides, he will fit into the shoes. ” He is leaving behind big shoes for me, and I know by God Grace, I will fit in”.
Engr Bolawole also promised to work through the division of NSE to bring about development and growth to the Society.
” I will also make it my priority to continue as soon as possible the building project at our Secretariat”.
Reacting to his election, Engr Bolawole thanked NSE members for their votes and support, saying he has moved rank and file of the Society and well Prepared for the job ahead.
He charged the newly inducted members to be active and live up to their responsibility as a professional Engineers.
