A Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party in Ondo State, Hon Dare Aliu has tendered his resignation letter from the People’s Democratic Party.
This resignation which took effect from 29th December, 2023 was contained in a letter sent to the chairman of his ward -Oshodi/ Isolo Ward 10 in Akure South Local Government.
In the letter made available to Daily News Correspondents, Hon. Aliu took this decision after due consultations with his God, families, friends and teeming supporters.
Recall that Hon. Dare Aliu was a former Special Assistant to Mr Governor, Chairman, Ondo state Signage and Advertisement Agency and PDP Candidate for Akure North/ Akure South Federal Constituency election in 2015.
The celebrated politician appreciated his former party members and leaders for their historic relationship while advocating for progressive realignment for national development and stability.
The date for his elaborate defection ceremony to the ruling All Progressives Congress ( APC) will be announced later.
