FESSY WEST EDUCATION SUPPORT: EXCITEMENT AS THOUSANDS OF IDANRE PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS GET FREE EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS*

There was great excitement today in Idanre as *Hon. Festus O. Akingbaso, MHR, Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency and Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Aviation*, distributed *educational support materials in thousands* to public secondary school students in Idanre Local Government.
Students in their tens arrived with their Principals and management staff at *Alade*, venue of the distribution exercise.
Schools fully on ground were *St. Joseph’s Catholic Grammar School, Ilemobola Girls High School, Baptist Grammar School, Idanre High School, Olofin Anglican Grammar School, United High school, Owena and Ebun Ogunyimika Comprehensive College.*
The *Area Education Officer (AEO) for Idanre, Mrs. Adeniyi O.* was on ground for the official distribution alongside her official, *Mr. Kayode John Esan*, and other stakeholders including community leader and former Secretary of Idanre Local Government, *Hon. Adegunleye Fioye.*
In her remarks, the AEO acknowledged the facilitator, Hon. Festus O. Akingbaso for his visionary and insightful intervention. She noted that the gesture will go a long way to ameliorate the pains of parents as the materials are provided at no cost, while charging the students to make proper use of them.
She further appreciated Hon. Akingbaso for his past efforts in hiring private teachers for schools in difficult terrains in Idanre.
Responding, the Principal of Idanre High School, *Mrs. Oyeniyi*, appreciated the facilitator and enjoined the students to be more studious.
Also speaking, *Hon. Fioye Adegunleye* commended Hon. Akingbaso and charged the students to relate with their parents to ensure their votes go for all APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
The materials were duly allocated to the respective schools with logistics support provided to ease their transportation to and from the venue.
Overall, the excited students expressed happiness as the intervention reached its targeted audience.
