EASTER: Hon Ologede Kolawole Greets Christians, Prays for Peace

A leading aspirant on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Hon Ologede Kolawole has joined million Nigerians to felicitate with the Christians faithful in Ondo State, charging them to use the period to pray for peace.
Hon Ologede is aspiring to represent the good people of Akure North State Constituency at the Ondo State House of Assembly.
In a statement made available to THE PATH, the former Councillor said Easter should be a period of sober reflection, adding that Christians should emulate Christ and see his death as a big sacrifice for the atonement of our sins.
He added that, Christ died on the Cross for people to be saved, noting that all Christians must be upright so that the death of Jesus Christ would not be in vain.
While also urging Christians to emulate the selfless life of Christ said Easter celebration which commemorates the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is yet another time to be reminded of the sacrificial love of God towards humanity.
He stated further that, Christians should see the festive season beyond merriment but as a period to showing love and giving to the less privileged in the society.
He urged Chrisians to celebrate in moderation, stressing the need for every one to be security conscious during the festive period.
Meanwhile, Ologede appealed to residents of the state to obtain their PVC as 2023 General Elections is far approaching, saying the only way they can exercise their franchise and elect the best candidate is to obtain their voters card.
He assured the people of Akure North State Constituency of better representation if elected to represent them at the State House of Assembly.
