Director of Administration to the Senate President, Hon Olufemi Fadairo has congratulated the Christian faithfuls in Ondo State, most especially Christians in Akure South and Akure North Federal Constituency as they celebrate easter.
He admonished them to continue to have hope and believe as exemplified by Christ Jesus, saying Christ died for the atonement of our sins.
Fadairo said the greatest sacrifice for the atonement of our sins was the crucifixion of Jesus Christ on the cross, charging Christians not to let the suffering be in vain.
“The resurrection of Christ Jesus was very significant, it means a lot to Christians. He rose to victory over death and thereby offered us eternal life.
He asked Nigerians to learn a lesson in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, saying Easter should not be about wining and dining alone.
He appealed to every Nigerians to always embrace peace, love one another without drumming for ethnic conflict.
“We must continue to have hope and believe that our country will soon overcome the current prevailing security and economy challenges facing the nation.
