EASTER: Ategbole, Alonge Rejoice With Christians, Preach One Love

A leading aspirant on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Dr Victor Ategbole has joined million Nigerians to felicitate with the Christians faithful in Ondo State, charging them to use the period to pray for peace.

Dr Ategbole is aspiring to represent the good people of Akoko South West and Akoko South East Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.

In a Press Release made available to THE PATH, the former Special Adviser to Governor Akeredolu said Easter should be a period of sober reflection, adding that Christians should emulate Christ and see his death as a big sacrifice for the atonement of our sins.

He added that, Christ died on the Cross for people to be saved, noting that all Christians must be upright so that the death of Jesus Christ would not be in vain.

In the same vein, Barr Felix Alonge while also urging Christians to emulate the selfless life of Christ said Easter celebration which commemorates the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is yet another time to be reminded of the sacrificial love of God towards humanity.

Alonge who is the Senior Special Assistant to Ondo State Governor on Social Investment Programmes stated further that, Christians should see the festive season beyond merriment but as a period to showing love and giving to the less privileged in the society.

He urged Chrisians to celebrate in moderation, stressing the need for every one to be security conscious during the festive period.

Meanwhile, Dr Ategbole appealed to residents of the state to obtain their PVC as 2023 General Elections is far approaching, saying the only way they can exercise their franchise and elect the best candidate is to obtain their voters card.

He assured the people of Akoko South West and Akoko South East Federal Constituency of better representation if elected to represent them at the House of Representatives.
