Dingi Oodua To Honour Oba Ayorinde Ilori-Faboro (Olujudo of Ido Ekiti),Prophet Sam Olu Alo,Michael Opeyemi Bamidele MOB,Others

One of the leading Yoruba News Magazines in South West,Nigeria, Dingi Oodua will be honouring some eminent sons and daughters of Ekiti State who are making the state proud.
On the list of the Award recipients are His Imperial Majesty,ỌBA Captain Ayorinde Ilori Faboro (Olujudo of Ido Ekiti),Chairman Council of Obas in Ekiti State, Prophet Sam Olu Alo (Baba Adamimogo WW), Senator Micheal Opeyemi Bamidele (MOB) among others.
The event is scheduled for May 17th 2025 in Ido Ekiti at Faboro Hall,Iyẹdi Street,Ido-Ekiti by 12 noon.
under the Chairmanship of Engr Prince Charles Olusegun Adekuajo.
The programme is tagged “TIWA N’TIWA” Ekiti Kete Media Award 2025 *ỌNI UYÌ, ỌNI AYIYẸ* and theme of the Award lecture is “PROMOTING OUR OWN” and the Guest Lecturer is Hon Dr Sola Ogunsina FCA,FCTI, CFA, President Ido Faboro Ekiti Sons and Daughters Home and Abroad.
His Imperial Majesty Oba Captain Ayorinde Ilori Faboro Olojudo Ido-Ekiti,the Chairman of traditional rulers in Ekiti will be decorated as *BABA DINGI OÒDUÀ*.
Aside Olujudo,to be decorated includes His Royal Majesty Oba Engr David Olawunmi Olofinlade,Òṣùmàrè 1(Ajigbaruru II,),MNSE,MNICE (Oloja Owa,Owatẹedo Ekiti), Prophet Sam Olu Alo (Baba Adamimogo WW); Senator Opeyemi Bamidele M.O.B. CON,(Nigeria Senate Majority Leader); Engr Prince Charles Olusegun Adekuajo; Prophet Kingsley Durojaye;Barrister Olusola Asọnibarẹ-Godwin.
Others are High Chief Hon ‘Layokun Abiodun (Kester); Hon Oluwarotimi Afolabi (Wonder); Aare Akogun Taye Arogunmatidi; Ọtunba Tunde Fasanmi; Elder Oluwasogo Ajibulu (Youth leader Ido-Ekiti); Mrs Bolanle Janet Omotoso (Headmistress Omodewa Pry School Ìdo-Ekiti).
Mr Owotuyi Olumide Adediran,(Principal Ekiti Parapọ College Ido-Ekiti); Comrade Jide Ogunluyi (General Manager Fresh FM Ado Ekiti);Mr Layi Oyawa (General Manager Adamimogo 107.7fm, Ido-Ekiti).
Prior to the event, on Friday 16th/May/2025, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Evershine Films and Travels Nigeria Limited, Chief Prince Sir Samuel Aanu Ijiti will lead the management of the Dingi Oodua to the palace of Olujudo for royal blessings and prayers.
Speaking, the Overall Chairman Planning Committee, Aare Ganiyu Afolabi said the award recipients,were carefully selected and activities investigated before being pencilled down for this great honour.
The Publisher/ Editor in Chief of the Dingi Oodua,Awisẹ Sunday Agbaje Jagi said this is the first time the program would be organized in Ekiti State.
He said the aims and objectives of the Yoruba News tabloid is mainly to promote the tradition and culture of Yoruba race so that Yoruba culture won’t go into extinction.
He promised to continue to appreciate and decorate people with giant strides within their immediate society saying the award is to further motivate and encourage them to do more.
On his part,Committe Secretary Dr Samuel Adewole (Actor Samba) said recipients of this great award are being recognized for their contributions to the society and humanity.
