The Principal of the Oyemekun Grammar School Akure (OGSA), Mr Adeniyi Oluyide said the celebration of the 73rd Founder’s Day of the school begins on Monday, 26th January, 2026.
The one week activities programne made available to the PATH NEWS stated that, the 11th Global Alumni of the college would be Inaugurated during the week among others line up activities.
The programme will commence on Monday 26th January, 2026 with Press Conference by the global president.
On Tuesday 27th January, 2026, the global president will interact with leading media outfit while on Wednesday 28th January, 2026, global executives will meet with the school principal, staff and few selected students. In addition, just after the said meeting, school sports activitirs will commence in earnest.
Day 4, Thursday 29th January, 2026 is loaded with three major activities such as Tour of Projects, Alumni Lecture and Presentation of Compendium on the achievements of the 10th Executive Council.
Thank you tour to the state government and traditional rulers will come up on Friday 30th January, 2026 while on Saturday 31st January, 2026, there will be Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Cocktail party.
Conclusively, Sunday 1st February, 2026 will witness Thanksgiving Service by 10:00am and Handover Formalities by 1:00pm at St. Andrew’s Church and Alumni Centre respectively.
