Award: Comr. Sanmi Alade Bags NULGE Best Branch Chairman in Ondo State

In recognition of his outstanding performance in the local government union activities, Comrade Sanmi Alade, the Chairman of NULGE, Akure North Local Government Branch has bagged the prestigious Award of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) as the Best Branch Chairman of NULGE in Ondo State.

The award investiture was conferred on him at the grand finale of the NULGE Week held at the Union Secretariat in Akure.

Speaking, the outgone president of NULGE, Comrade Bola Taiwo commended Comrade Alade for his outstanding contributions to the development of the union saying by all standards, he stands out among his contemporaries.

He added that the award is a well-deserved one while charging other chairmen to emulate him saying there’s always reward for hardwork and commitment.

In the same vein, the newly sworn-in president, Comrade Fredrick Akinrinlola congratulated Comrade Alade on the prestigious honour bestowed on him while urging him to continue to do more in service delivery to the local government workers in Akure North.

Speaking with the PATH, Comrade Sanmi Alade who could not hide his joy thanked the state leadership of the union for beaming their search light on his activities and for also counting him worthy for the prestigious award.

He promised to continue to put more effort and channel his energy into things that will promote NULGE and welfare of workers of local government in Akure North.

Comrade Alade further added that perseverance, commitment and determination have helped him to achieved as a Unionist, saying whatever one’s aspiration might be in life, God time is the best.

His words: ” While I was thriving to become Chairman of NULGE at the Local Government, I put all efforts but it never come to reality but I thank God today I am the Chairman at God’s appointed time. God time is the best”.

He charged his colleagues to always look unto God in time of needs saying only God knows the right time to answer prayers, as man can only try but God has the final say.

He dedicated the Award to Almighty God, Local Government Workers at Akure North and his ever supporting wife.
